Company-Level Reports

Overall KPIs - total revenue, total profit, and expenses tracked in real-time across the portfolio.

Department-Level Reports

Each department maintains its own set of weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals with clearly defined key metrics. Every department knows exactly what it's responsible for and how progress is measured.

  • Weekly performance goals - short-cycle targets that keep momentum and surface problems early
  • Monthly performance goals - medium-term targets rolled up from weekly data, tied to department growth
  • Quarterly performance goals - strategic objectives aligned with company-level direction

Priority Chart

A living priority chart of the highest-impact tasks that move the needle most - updated weekly and used to assign work.

Live Portfolio Company

Overseer uses proprietary software to aggregate and distribute leads in the health insurance space. The platform handles lead routing, attribution, and monetization at scale. It operates across three departments, each with its own weekly and monthly reports:

Monetizes leads - maximizes the value extracted from each lead through routing optimization and buyer relationships

Owns customer happiness - resolves issues, maintains satisfaction scores, and ensures retention

Business Operations

What You'll Do

You'll be trained from the ground up on how the business works, how reporting works, and how to problem-solve within our framework. This is in-depth training designed to give you a full understanding of operations at a high level.

  • Work on the highest-priority tasks from the priority chart with extreme autonomy
  • All tools and resources are available to you - if you need more resources or need to hire more people, we can do that
  • Self-guided: you ask for help only when all other options are exhausted
  • Problem-solve using data, first-principles thinking, and intelligence gathering
  • Produce weekly reports based on success criteria
  • Monthly dedicated reporting on department and company-level metrics

Weekly Workload

  • Beginning of week: speak with CEO on highest-priority tasks - eventually you self-assign based on the priority chart
  • Execute on tasks using tools, training, and resources - ask for help only when other options are exhausted
  • End of week: produce a report based on success criteria set for that week
  • Constraints discussed and resolved with CEO
  • Monthly dedicated reporting on broader goals and department metrics

Incentive Program

On top of base salary, there is a monthly bonus and incentive program based on data and performance:

  • Monthly performance bonuses tied directly to success criteria you helped define
  • Ongoing bonuses for life as long as criteria continue to be met - not one-time payouts
  • Incentives scale with impact: the more you move the needle, the more you earn
  • Direct reporting to CEO - no bureaucracy between you and decisions

  • How to problem-solve effectively, especially when the answer is not clear
  • How to use data and intelligence gathering to make the best decisions
  • How to ruthlessly prioritize using the priority chart
  • First-principles thinking applied to real business problems
  • Full understanding of company operations, reporting structure, and metrics
